Who we are
A small team dedicated to giving finished films the send-off they deserve — mastered properly, packaged with care, and built to outlast a hard drive.
Our mission
Film students work incredibly hard on their final projects, and those films deserve to be preserved properly — not just uploaded and forgotten. A finished film is the result of a year, sometimes several years, of writing, shooting, editing and rewriting. Too often it ends its life as a file in a shared folder.
Normal Shoes exists to close that gap. We take the finished export and turn it into something that can be held, watched without a laptop, handed to family, and kept on a shelf long after the course has ended — the same treatment a released film would get, scaled to a student budget and a student timeline.
We work directly with individual filmmakers as well as whole cohorts and film departments, and we stay involved from the first upload through to the finished piece landing on your desk.

Every disc is authored and tested properly — clean menus, accurate chapters, and a master that actually plays the way it should.

Pricing, timelines and processes built around what a graduating student can actually manage — not a commercial studio budget.
Presentation
Disc art, case design and print finishing are treated as part of the film, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Relationships
We'd rather build long-term partnerships with courses and departments than treat every order as a one-off transaction.
